October 4th - Janice is back in the hospital. She was to go in today (Monday) to have a procedure to remove a shunt they had put in during the last procedure BUT she was in so much pain on Saturday that Ross took her down and they admitted her. She has an infection in the bladder and they are treating it with anti-biotic through an IV. We had a good weekend. On Sunday we went over to visit some friends who live way out in the country. They milk goats and have a neat farm. October 8th - Zion has started eating "real" food and he loves it! His first tooth broke through yesterday. He has been eating mashed potatoes - bananas - soft bread and rice cereal. Janice came home on Tuesday evening and is still in quite a bit of pain. Vern Utz and family from near Edmonton Alberta stopped and spent the night Monday. October 11th - Today Jasper is 9 - will update you tomorrow. Zion is 6 months old and a lot of fun! He weighs 21 pounds. October 12th - As of yesterday Jasper is 9! We (or should I say he!) had a great day celebrating his birthday! He got a toolbox and some cool tools - a Lego motorcycle - some cash of course and a cake with an edible motorcycle picture on it. Dad took him out to eat at the place of his choice (it was the American Steak Buffet!)
October 14th - We have a new toy! Brought it home Tuesday night! It is a 250cc full time 4X4. October 18th - Janice is back in the hospital she went back in on the 13th. Please lift her and us all up in your prayers! The boys and I had quite a time this weekend as we ripped out about a 1/4 mile section of old fence. It went through a swampy area where the grass was over 6 feet tall and matted down etc. It was a real challenge and made me realize I am not used to "manual" labor! October 22nd - Janice came home last night and seems to be doing pretty good. October 25th - Janice seems to be doing alright. It seems lately that she has not really been 'out of the woods' but seems to be as well as can be expected. We had an awesome weather wise - it was over 70 yesterday. Got a lot of winterizing done. We will take this nice stuff as long as the good Lord allows! |
