July 7th - Missed a week of updating and a lot has happened!  Hollis & Jenny came down last Tuesday and are staying until the 16th - we sang on the 4th up in North Vernon and then went down to Louisville that evening for fireworks.  We had a nasty storm the week before that took down a lot of trees.  One right in the yard here that was hit by lightning.  That was loud.  Vanessa, Starlit and Vanya arrived home safely and had a great week!  Vanya was a big hit at the baby class and really enjoyed it.  She is such a character.  Not sure where she gets that from?

July 14th - Hot and humid!  Starting to sound too familiar!  Vanya had a great birthday (will post some pictures) and is standing on her own.  She will be walking soon.  We went to the Zoo yesterday and it was 85 and nice so had a good time.  It has been wonderful having Hollis & Jenny here.  They go back on Wednesday.  We went to the Creation Museum with them on Thursday and that is a powerful experience.  I highly recommend that to anyone if they get a chance to go.  Gas is hovering around $4.05 a gallon here in Scottsburg BUT is $4.30 down in Louisville.




July 21st - well as you can see Vanya loved her birthday!  Hollis & Jenny left for home on Wednesday.  My buddy Rick had come down on Tuesday and stayed for a day and then Jasper & Starlit went back to ND with him.  They will be driving Jaspers car back down.  We began work on framing the addition on the place we are living.  I have not sweat like that since, well probably since the time I was here visiting and helping out!  Humidity is nasty stuff.
