April 13th - What a wonderful week!  Celebrated Passover on Thursday evening with a great bunch down in Louisville.  The reflection of how the Messiah, the Passover lamb, loved us enough to come to this world and suffer for our sins, always leaves me in awe of His love!  The McGuire family was all here for Easter and it was good to see them.  The kids had a great time and of course it was Starlit and Zion's birthday so it was good to have cousins around for that.  Aunt Yvonne's birthday is on the 10th also so that was even more reason to party!  Vanessa and the kids (except Jasper) left for ND this morning and will be gone 2 weeks.  The weather here is spring like and greening up nicely.  This is a family picture taken 4/12/09

April 20th - We have had some rain but Saturday was very nice with highs in the 80's - it was a nice day for yard work (we had a youth group here and got a lot done) and then a nice evening for Thunder!  Much warmer than last year.  The planes were cool and the fireworks were unbelievable.  Vanessa and the 4 youngest had a safe trip to ND although thery did have some spots were there was water over the Interstate but it was not closed.  The weather is nice in ND also.  We are still making progress on the addition although the drywall finishers have left us hanging so that is a bit frustrating.  Pray for God's direction as I may go to Zambia next month for New Life.  Also for safety for family in ND and about what to do with the house there.
